How to choose a class or classes?
- Consider your child’s interests – Choose classes that match your child’s interests, such as music, crafts, or science.
- Think about your child’s age and level – Make sure to choose classes that are appropriate for your child’s age and Mandarin language proficiency level.
- Assess your child’s needs – Identify areas where your child may need extra help, such as speaking and listening or reading and writing, and choose classes that will address those needs.
- Choose the session length – Decide whether you want a 1-hour, 2-hour, 3-hour, 6-hour, or 8-hour (full day) session based on your child’s schedule and needs.
- Mix and match classes – If your child is interested in multiple subjects, you can mix and match classes to create a customized learning experience.

Mini Village Class
Through simulating real-life situations, the Mini Village activity uses the Mandarin language in a fun but real scenarios. We have Mini Coffee Shop, Mini Clinic, Mini Home, Mini Restaurant, Mini Supermarket etc.
1hr Class Times:
9:15-10:15am. Mon.- Sat.
10:30-11:30am. Mon.- Sat.
11:30-12:30pm. Mon.- Sat.
2:00-3:00pm. Sat Only
3:30-4:30pm. Mon.- Fri.
4:30-5:30pm. Mon.- Fri.
Activities include:
- Rhyme
- Storytelling
- Role-play
- Singing
- Real Conversation Practice
Key Skills Learned:
- Mandarin sentence practice

- Manners and discipline
- Understanding communication not only at the language level but also Emotional Level

Science Tech Engineering Arts Maths Class
Making things and solving problems together, exploring the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths world with Mandarin. Learning the language and learning critical and logical thinking and future-proof problem-solving skills. Also learning how to communicate with others effectively so we can work together as a team.

Movement and Music Class
Based on some purposely chosen stories, go through all the structured barriers to reach the exercise goal and practice the Mandarin language during the exercise and play.

Baby Music & Movement Classes
These are two classes designed for kids under 2 years old. They will open the door of Mandarin to young babies. We will learn singing, music interacting and analyzing, musical instrument, baby sensory integration, also parents baby music and physical interaction.
30mins Class Times:
8:40-9:10 am Every Saturday
Activities include:
- Singing
- Dancing
- Playing musical instruments
- Classical music interacting
- Structured physical play
- Parents and baby interaction game

- Basic lesson structure Mandarin
- Familiar with Mandarin tones

5+ Listening & Talking and Writing & Reading Classes
We offer two types of classes in the age group based on your children’s ability and your expectation to choose for them.
Listening and Talking focused class will be using I.S.B.L™ (Immersive Situation-Based Learning) program, where the teacher will set up a real-life like situations for children to learn to use the language.
Writing and Reading focused class will be more useful for children older and more advanced in Mandarin. When they graduate from AMEA, they will learn about 3000 characters.

4:30-5:30pm Mon.-Fri.
10:30-11:30am Sat.
Activities include:
- Role play
- Conversation practice
- Mandarin book reading
- Chinese writing
- Structured games
